Chevron Bones

Wow! The 'Bag of Bones' and its coordinating dies do NOT disappoint!!!
Here are 3 cards I created for my littlest nieces. I could have kept adding die-cuts to this (like hat, cane, shoes), but I decided to stop here! LOL!

What's sooo awesome is the 'Glow-in-the-Dark' bats and ghosts (not the black ones just the iridescent ones that you see in the picture. So cool! My nieces are going to love them!

I heat embossed each skeleton, cat and dog.

Thanks for stopping by!

50th Birthday

Using the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge as a guide (MOJO433), I created this fun card for my sister-in-law who will be turning '50'.

Here is the link to the Mojo Monday Blog and the Challenge:
http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2016/02/mojo-monday-433-contest.html

I drew colors from the 'It's My Party' Designer Series Paper stack. Not my usual color choice.... so stepping out of my comfort zone.  BUT.... It turned out fantastic! I hope my sister-in-law likes it too! I really didn't want to do the traditional black and silver that most '50' milestone cards have, so I believe that I did great!  (Although, now that I really look at my focal piece with the 50 on it... it kinda reminds me of a tombstone. lol! Hope she doesn't see that too!).

Watercolor Leaves

I wanted to create a masculine card for my father-in-law who had cataract surgery on his eye (yes, he will need his other eye done too).  I believe with the combination of colors and chevron TIEF I nailed it!
It's sometimes hard for me to create masculine cards, but with this card... I had a surprisingly easy go of it.  Maybe it had something to do with the leaves stamp set -- I LOVE leaves.
I achieved the colors on the leaves by coloring them in with markers -- yellow first, then green, orange and finally red.
