I saw this yellow card on Pinterest. Not sure who to give credit to, but I used this card for inspiration for my own card. Thanks so much whoever you are!

I used a mix of two stamp sets with their coordinating dies - 'Nailed It' with 'Build It' dies and 'Trusty Tools' with the 'Trusty Tools' dies.

I kept my color scheme simple using Copper Clay and Gray Granite for the tools. The background piece is from the 'Trusty Toolbox' DSP - Lost Lagoon.

What a cute card made by Joann Stubbings at 'Just Add Ink' blog found on Pinterest. I chose to use Cinnamon Cider instead of the Bermuda Bay. For the DSP... I used a sheet from the 'Simply Elegant' DSP pack. I added a touch of 'Wink of Stella to the gray parts of the tool to make them shine.

Nailed Birthday

 

I really liked the look of Stampin' Country's card, so I created one for myself. My colors are changed from hers though -- I used Misty Moonlight, Blamy Blue and Gray Granite on mine.

Most of the images are from the 'Nailed It' stamp set with the exception of the lined background - that's from the 'Urban District' stamp set; the dotted background - that's from the 'Friends Are Like Seashells' stamp set; and the sentiment - that's from the 'Happy Birthday Gorgeous' stamp set.

When I noticed Chantal's card (on the right), I just knew I had to create a few for myself for the Father's in my life! Thanks Chantal for your inspiration!

Nail It Big

I saw Juana Ambida's card on Pinterest and wanted to create one for myself... I used red instead of her yellow. Thanks Juana for your cute card!

I used an AquaPainter to color in the tools with Smoky Slate and Real Red. For the ruler, I cut a strip of Silver Foil the width of the die-cut (1/2"), and than ran it through the Big Shot instead of cutting it after I ran it through the Big Shot. The edge looked better doing it that way in the finished product.

I used the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment from the 'Big on Birthdays' stamp set... I just stamped them separately to get them on top of each other rather than in a straight line.

Nailed Birthdays

This set is such a wonderful set to use for my Dad.  He LOVES to work with tools, and he is handy to have around to fix things around the house, car, etc. I love my Dad!

I first stamped (with Staz-on Black ink) the tools on the silver foil and die-cut those out. I then stamped the same tools on Delightful Dijon and die-cut those out. Using scissors, I carefully cut the handles out of the Dijon and adhered them to the silver foil.
