Memorial Thanks

In honor of Memorial Day, and my brother and his wife hosting our Memorial Day celebration... I needed to get a card for them.
I designed it within My Memories Suite digital software. I used a heart shape and filled the top in with 'Pursuit of Happiness' (blue stars) and the bottom half with 'Let Freedom Ring' (stripes). The banner is from the 'Glimmer Kit' (Banner). The sentiment is from 'From All You Do' set.

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Memorial Day!

Supplies Used:
My Memories Suite digital software
Punch - Heart (filled w/Pursuit of Happiness - stars - QueenB), Heart (filled w/Let Freedom Ring - stripes - SU)
Stamp Brush Sets - For All You Do (words - SU); Glimmer Kit (banner- SU)

Bouquet Expressions

Even though I didn't follow 'Paper Daisy Crafting's' card exactly, I wanted to show you how I came up with/got inspired from her lovely card.

I used the sentiment from the new 2021-2022 Hostess set 'Expressions of Friendship'. The flowers and leaves are from the 'Beautiful Bouquet' stamp set and it's coordinating 'Bouquet Bunch' dies.

The background is my all time favorite - Layered Leaves Embossing Folder.

I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the petal flowers to make them shine.

Paper - Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, Old Olive

Rooted in Paradise

I know this stamp set is retired, but needed a good masculine birthday card for my Uncle. This set paired with the 'Tranquil Textures' DSP made creating this card a breeze. The added touch of the stitched ribbon finished the card perfectly (IMO... LOL).

The sentiment I used is a new one.... 'Paradise Palms'. Such a lovely set too... and would be perfect for another masculine birthday card.

Thanks for looking!

Stamp Sets - Paradise Palms, Rooted in Nature
Ink - Early Espresso, Old Olive
Paper - Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Basic White, Tranquil Textures DSP
Accessories - Stampin' Trimmer, Stitched Ribbon (Early Espresso)

Grad Celebration

Such a great layout from Maureen Plat... I just had to create one for myself! Thanks Maureen for your inspiration!
I designed the lines within My Memories Suite digital software... along with the sentiment.

The 'So Proud of You' stamp is from the 'Celebrating You' stamp set.
The flag banner behind the sentiment is not really that long.... I cut the piece in half and attached them to the back to make it look longer.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Supplies Used:
My Memories Suite digital software
Stamp Brush Set - Anchors Away (wavy line- SU)
Font - Calibri (happy) and King Lionel (Graduation)

Paper - Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie DSP

Stamp set - Celebrating You
Accessories - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine, Seasonal Labels dies, Tasteful Labels dies, Little Numbers dies, dimensionals, stylus

Dahlia Party

I wanted to create a card similar to Allison's, but I felt that the Dahlia's didn't 'pop' on the card with this yellow background she used.... so I changed mine up a bit to make it my own and I believe the card came out great!

The sentiment is from the 'Punch Party' stamp set.

The other stamps and dies coordinate together. The 'Dahlia Days' stamp set with the 'Detailed Dahlias'
dies.

I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the flowers to make them shine.

Stamp sets - Dahlia Days, Punch Party

Ink - Memento, Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray

Paper - Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray, Basic Black, Basic White

Accessories - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine, Detailed Dahlias dies, Stone Embossing Folder, Wink of Stella

Sympathy Hugs

It's so difficult to create a sympathy card when one is needed. Thankfully, through Pinterest, I found Mikaela Titheridge's card... and I made one for myself. Thanks Mikaela!

My neighbor, and friend just passed away. We spent so much time together... I have gotten to know and love them and their family like my own family. So with this passing... I took it hard. Paul will be missed greatly. I will remember the stories he told, the puzzles I'd help him put together, the tea we'd drink and the rosaries we've said! My heart is aching for Barb (his wife) and their family.

I hope this card give them some comfort to know that I am and will be always there for them.

Thanks for dropping by!

Celebrating Cheer

I loved the clean design on Ardyth's card (found on Pinterest). I wanted to create a boy card though, so changed the flower to stars. As my 'Happy' word was way bigger than hers, I decided to center my focal piece making the card my own. Thanks Ardyth for your inspiration!

I only used a portion of one of the stamps in the 'Celebrating You' stamp set. I taped the part I didn't need before stamping onto the cardstock.

The DSP is retired from the 'Oh So Ombre' Designer Series Paper pack.

Thanks for dropping in!

Stamp set - Celebrating You
Ink - Memento
Paper - Bermuda Bay, Basic White, Basic Black, Oh, So Ombre DSP

Blessed You

As with Mother's Day (as well as Father's Day), I like to create the same card, but design with colors that correspond with the person I'm giving the card to... to make it special for them. Thus is the case with this Mother's Day card. My Mother-in-law loves the color blue, my second Mom (my best friend's Mom) is more of a spring-y color... so I chose Peach, and my Aunt (and Godmother) I chose purple.

The sentiment is from the 'Celebrating You' stamp set.
The die is from the 'Stitched Nested Labels' dies. I used a stylus on the back of the die to make the die shape pop so it stands out more.
The DSP is from the 2021-2022 In Color and 2020-2021 Soft Subtles (blue)
The flower image is from the 'Blessings of Home' stamp set. It has a coordinating die set called 'Flowers of Home'.
I used 'Wink of Stella' on the petals to make them shine.

Stamp sets - Blessings of Home, Celebrating You
Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Granny Apple Green, Pale Papaya, Balmy Blue, So Saffron)
Paper - Pale Papaya, Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Soft Subtles DSP, 2021-2022 In Color DSP

Elegant Poppy

My brother and his wife will be celebrating their 27th wedding anniversary! Congratulations!
I wanted to give them an elegant card, but I was so frustrated with my outcomes. I made two before scrapping them and starting over.

I chose to utilize the 'Poppy Moments' dies. In which, a die-cut outline is placed over the die-cut shape of a different color. Here, I chose a monochromatic card of Sahara Sand and Basic White. A tip I've learn is to use the adhesive sheets when working with really intricate dies like this one.
(Place the adhesive sheet on your cardstock before running it through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine, then adhere to the die-cut shape after peeling off the second backing.)

I used 'Wink of Stella on the flower petals to make them shine.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Stamp sets- Elegantly Said, Rose Wonder, Sweet Conversations
Ink - Sahara Sand
Paper - Sahara Sand, Basic White
Accessories - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine, Rose Garden dies, Poppy Moments dies, Stone Embossing Folder

Happy Giggles

Our God-Daughter had to have emergency appendectomy recently. As my husband went through the same thing... they could compare situations and outcomes (along with scars). Prayers for quick healing and returning back to normal soon.

I thought this card was rather appropriate in a fun sort of way.

Baptism Tag

My new niece has celebrated her Baptism.  My Sister-in-law wanted some tags, so place around a pot of flowers that will be placed on each table. She saw something on Pinterest (Etsy) that she wanted to see if I could work something similar.

Working in My Memories Suite digital software, I found this beautiful spray of flowers to use. The cross is made by making two rectangle pieces and forming a cross.

I added a 'Wink of Stella' on the cross to make it shine.

Have a Blessed day!

Emily Baptism

I designed this card to compliment the decorative box I made for our gift to our niece on her Baptism.
The Cross is from the 'Special Blessings' Stamp set (retired) and the sentiment is from the 'Crosses of Hope' stamp set (also retired).
The DSP is from the SAB 2022 Promotion - Friendly Hello DSP.

Stamp sets - Special Blessings, Crosses of Hope
Ink - Petal Pink, Versamark
Paper - Petal Pink, Basic White, Friendly Hello DSP
Accessories - scissors, Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine, Stitched Nested Labels, stylus, Heat Tool, White Emboss Powder, dimensionals

My littlest niece, Emily Elizabeth Schwab, was born on 2/2/2022! She is a blessing to our family. We celebrated her Baptism recently.
I purchased a Baptism block... showcasing her name, the letter 'E', where and when she was baptized, and a lovely quote of Baptism.

I purchased the wooden block here:

I created a lovely decorative keepsake box of paper to keep the block within. To get the dimensions of the box (using the Envelope Punch Board), I used this lovely website to calculate how big the box should be: http://www.thecraftyowl.co.uk/boxbuster/

I used this website to create the bow, using the Envelope Punch Board: https://www.debbiehendersondesigns.com/envelope-punch-board-bows/
