I found a card on Pinterest using white for the pine cone with white on the background... and so, wanted to try that on a card of my own. I paired it with Soft Sea Foam and Silver paper to create a elegant card.
I applied 'Wink of Stella' on the pine cone to make it sparkle (although, you can't really see that in my photo).
Thanks for taking a closer look.

Mike's Milestone

Upon seeing this sketch on the Sweet Shoppe website..... I wanted to see if I could recreate something similar for my husband's birthday scrapbook page. The hardest part for me was to create the strips of paper with the angled tips.
In creating the angled strips, I used the flag punch. I cropped the punch (lengthwise), to create the angled edge you see. I copied and pasted another strip, so that it looked like it continued under the photo on the opposite side. Aligning them was a challenge, but so worth it!
Thanks for taking a peek!
Supplies Used:
Background - Textured Cardstock (Night of Navy)
Stamp Brush Sets - Lemonade Stand (words Happy Birthday - Tempting Turquoise and Basic Black); A Cute Christmas (Tempting Turquoise)
Punch - Square (Basic Black and Textured Cardstock Whisper White); Flag (cropped lengthwise - Glimmer DSP Gold, Textured Cardstock Tempting Turquoise and Textured Cardstock Basic Black)
Font - Cooper Black (Whisper White)

Grad Invite
My beautiful niece graduated from high school this year. The photo of her was what she wore on her graduation day....such a beautiful photo.... I didn't want it to just sit on my computer folder. I decided to play with My Digital Studio software to create a graduation invite.
Here's what I came up with. Her class colors are purple and gold..... which look great next to her soft green dress that she wore. I love how this turned out!

Dance

Continuing my work on my 2011 scrapbook..... with a two-page spread of my niece, Haley's dance recital. She has been in dance since she was really little, and I have been to all of her dance recitals so far. She amazes me with her gracefulness and beauty onstage.

Ornament Magnet
My brother and his fiancee will be getting married in December... and wanted some 'Save the Date' magnets to mail in July.
They asked if I could make an ornament shape.... and I was able to find a Sissix die that would suit my/their needs perfectly. I created a 4x6 print in My Digital Studio, printed them out on photo paper, attached them to the 4x6 magnet sheets, and then ran them through the ornament die. Time-consuming when you need to make 200, but so well worth it.... as it will be a lasting reminder of my brother and his fiancee. Love them!
