Blessed You

As with Mother's Day (as well as Father's Day), I like to create the same card, but design with colors that correspond with the person I'm giving the card to... to make it special for them. Thus is the case with this Mother's Day card. My Mother-in-law loves the color blue, my second Mom (my best friend's Mom) is more of a spring-y color... so I chose Peach, and my Aunt (and Godmother) I chose purple.

The sentiment is from the 'Celebrating You' stamp set.
The die is from the 'Stitched Nested Labels' dies. I used a stylus on the back of the die to make the die shape pop so it stands out more.
The DSP is from the 2021-2022 In Color and 2020-2021 Soft Subtles (blue)
The flower image is from the 'Blessings of Home' stamp set. It has a coordinating die set called 'Flowers of Home'.
I used 'Wink of Stella' on the petals to make them shine.

Stamp sets - Blessings of Home, Celebrating You
Ink - Memento, Stampin' Blends (Granny Apple Green, Pale Papaya, Balmy Blue, So Saffron)
Paper - Pale Papaya, Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Soft Subtles DSP, 2021-2022 In Color DSP
Accessories - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine, Flowers of Home dies, Stitched Nested Labels dies, Whisper White Organdy Ribbon, Stylus

Amazing Nature

I found Nadine Weiner's card on Pinterest, and I just loved the layout with the leaves. I, of course, used a different sentiment for my card, but kept the general layout the same. Thanks Nadine for your inspiration!
As you can see, I inked up my stamps more than she did... making my leaves stand out more too.

Thanks for stopping by!

Lets Celebrate

I saw a few cards that had candles made out of DSP (Designer Paper Series) paper along with the 'celebrate' die-cut across those candles, so I thought I'd give it a try with the DSPs that I had. I used the Brights Collection (retired now). I chose to use all the same pattern.... those I saw online used different patterns.

Thanks for taking a look!

Supplies Used:
Stamp Sets - Amazing You (let's), Picture Perfect Birthday (flame)
Ink - Memento, Daffodil Delight
Paper - Old Olive, Basic Black, Whisper White, Brights Collection DSP
Accessories - Celebrate You Thinlits, Big Shot

Perfect You

My brother turned 50! He's the first in the family, so it's definitely a huge milestone for him! I wanted to use the colors gray and black, but when I used yellow for the flame.... I thought I'd add touches of yellow throughout the card.

I stamped the candles separately and cut each one out before adhering to the focal piece.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
