Greater Cleveland Aquarium

In July 2017, Mike and I drove downtown to see the Greater Cleveland Aquarium.  I have been there before, but this was the first experience for Mike. It is a bit smaller than aquariums that we have visited in the past in other cities, but it was good to see. We decided to take the Trolley ride around downtown to see the sites and to learn some history too! Very informative!

Thanks for taking a look!

Oregon Aquarium

I found this cute layout on Pinterest, and wanted to use it on my 2-page spread here.  Unfortunately, I cannot give credit to the designer who created her 2page spread, as the website is no longer active. BUT... you can see it here:
Thank you for your inspiration!

These pages may look familiar to some, as I did create a calendar 12x12 page of a few of these photos.  I did change some papers and embellishments (and, of course, the layout), but I really liked the effect with the huge helm in the background of the paper.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Background - Sail Away At Sea DSP
Punch - Square (filled w/ Nautical Expedition DSP); Grad Banner (White and Blue)
Stamp Brush Sets - Anchors Away (shark - blue; helm - blue at 20% opacity)
Embellishments - Seaside (starfish); Summer Vacation (starfish blue); Basic Pearls (colored blue)
Font - Steamer (Blue); Bow (White and Blue)

Beachcomber Hotel

Sorry to say it's been a long time since I made scrapbook pages...and it seems I'm getting behind again. Ack!  I'd like to get to a point where I can scrapbook things within a month of the event -- I'm hoping that CAN happen soon! Ha!

I'm working on our 2014 photobook with our trip to northern California with Mike's parents.  This happened in April 2014.  We had such a pleasant trip traveling up the coast and staying at the Beachcomber Hotel before going up the coast to see the Redwood trees (that will be my next several pages of our photobook, so stay tuned!).

Thanks for stopping by!

Sand - DGSCPR0025Task4

Working on a scrapbook page from our recent trip to the coast (of California).  I played along with the June Progressive Digi-Scrap Challenge on the Splitcoaststampers website.  The challenge gives you a few tasks to do each week (within the month) so, at the end of that month, you have a completed page.

If you'd like to view the challenge for June, start here: June Progressive Challenge - Task 1 . From that one you can find tasks 2-4.

Thanks for looking!

Moving along on my 2009 scrapbook! In February of that year, we visited the Battleship U.S.S. North Carolina in Wilmington NC. I tried using a photo strip on these photos, as there were many to choose from. I think the Nautical Expedition papers & colors work well with the subject.
