Southern Magnolia

I just love the coloring on the Magnolia Lane DSP flowers, so wanted to create the same with my Stampin' Blends. Very cool!

I used the DSP for my background piece too.

Southern Beach

Such a relatively easy card to achieve. I first created the mask with the Layering Ovals die on scrap paper. I placed the mask over the White cardstock and stamped the tree in Memento ink. With sponge daubers, I used Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie to create a sky, and with Soft Suede made the sand below.

Once the mask was removed, I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink.

Southern Bloom

I really wanted to create a winter flower card, and the 'Bloom and Grow' stamp set allowed just that! With my Stampin' Blends markers... you can create any color combo that you can imagine.

Here, I chose Balmy Blue with Night of Navy for the center flower; and Night of Navy and Petal Pink for the outside flowers.

Southern Petal

I look for inspiration for my cards on many online websites. Sometimes, I copy the card exactly; sometimes, I only use just the layout; and sometimes, I copy the card, but change a few things to make it my own.

I used the layout of Mary Fish's card as inspiration for mine. Here is her card here:

On my card I paired the 'Petal Palette' stamp set with the 'Southern Serenade' set. For the background, I used DSP from 'Petal Passion'

Springtime Serenade

Have you tried the Springtime Foil Specialty Papers from Stampin' Up! yet? Oh wow! What an elegant card it creates! AND..... this one is so easy to do!

I used Thick Whisper White cardstock as my base. Then adhered a 4x4.25 piece of Springtime Foil Specialty paper to the bottom. Then, from a scrap piece -- I cut out a flower with scissors. I added a few dimensionals to the back of the flower to make it 'pop'.

I used the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment from the 'Southern Serenade' stamp set. Then finished my card with Shimmer Ribbon.

Spring Serenade

Back to creating some new cards with the amazing new stamps that I purchased from Stampin' Up! This set is called 'Southern Serenade'  and can be found in the 2018 Occasions Catalog (selling period Jan 3 to May 31).

It's such a great set to work with... and I love it when I can just utilize just one stamp set in a card.
