Continuing on with our 2012 photobook.... when we were in Cleveland in July 2012, we drove to the National Shrine there. We lit a few candles, said a few prayers and touched the Holy Water provided from the spring. It was interesting to see they had a huge walking 'Rosary' and stairs leading to "The Way of the Cross"(Stations of the Cross) outside. It was a very peaceful place.
I chose to keep my colors Sahara Sand and Pretty in Pink with a touch of Primrose Petals. I've recolored Designer Series Paper and embellishments to go along with my color scheme.
I loosely used a sketch I found on the SweetShoppe website for my first page:

Wow! First of all, what a sketch to tackle, "crazy!" You did a great job, your pages are Beautiful! The photos are peaceful themselves, and special, warm, loving, love-filled and beautiful! I can feel the peace and prayer of the day! What a serene and beautiful place! Thanks for sharing! I can feel the peace and love here! XO
ReplyDeleteThanks Donna! I know...the sketch has A LOT going on....and as you could tell, I didn't include many layers that the sketch had in it. Sometimes I think the pictures get 'lost' in some designs. I'm glad my photos were 'showcased' rather than 'lost' in this sketch. Your words comfort me! xoxo
