I designed this card to compliment the decorative box I made for our gift to our niece on her Baptism.

The Cross is from the 'Special Blessings' Stamp set (retired) and the sentiment is from the 'Crosses of Hope' stamp set (also retired).

The DSP is from the SAB 2022 Promotion - Friendly Hello DSP.

My littlest niece, Emily Elizabeth Schwab, was born on 2/2/2022! She is a blessing to our family. We celebrated her Baptism recently.

I purchased a Baptism block... showcasing her name, the letter 'E', where and when she was baptized, and a lovely quote of Baptism.

I thought I'd try my hand at making a similar card to Chris Smith's card that I found on Pinterest. Now, I had a bit of trouble centering the die cut shape... so it does hang a bit off the card, but for my first attempt... it's good.

I changed up a few things on my card to make it my own... but wanted to show where I got my inspiration! Thanks Chris!

Our niece is turning into a little lady at 15 years old. Gosh all our nieces and nephews are growing up so fast! My friends and family have overwhelmed me with blessings on my recent birthday! What a lucky woman I am! I needed some thank you cards to show how much I appreciate them and all they do for me throughout the year!

I used the stamp set 'Blessings of Home' along with the sentiment from 'Flowing Flowers'. I colored all of them in using my Stampin' Blends markers. I added 'Wink of Stella' to all the flowers. I also added color to the rhinestones to match the cardstock I chose for each.

Skydiving Birthday

 

My Uncle (and God-Father) skydives. Ever since I started creating my own cards for family and friends... for his birthday he has always asked if I had a skydiving stamp to use for his card. My answer was always no. Well, some came close... one that comes to mind is the 'Boys Will Be Boys' set with the army silhouette skydiver.

Well, this year I decided to find a free clip art online. It's perfect! I just added in the background of blue and added clouds. Then I added the sentiment as a text.

My niece is turning 3!!! She loves the color purple, so I decided to color my image with purple. 

The sentiment is from the stamp set 'Flowing Flowers' and the butterflies and the cute little lady is from the 'Catching Butterflies' stamp set from the 2022 Sale-A-Bration Catalog.

I colored in the images with Stampin' Blends and added a touch of 'Wink of Stella' to the little lady's dress to make it shine.

Calming Daffodil

 

I love daffodils in the spring, not as much as tulips... but they are a so pretty all bundled together.

I used the new 'Daffodil Daydream' stamp set with its coordinating 'Daffodil' dies for this card. I also used the 'Daffodil Afternoon' Designer Series Paper (DSP). 

The sentiment is from the 'Calming Camellia' stamp set from the 2022 Sale-A-Bration Catalog. The die I used is from the 'Eden' dies.

I used a touch of 'Wink of Stella' to make the daffodil shine.

Friendly Sip

 

I loved the look of Paula's card with using alternate images on the card front. I thought to do the same using the 'Sip Sip Hooray' stamp set. I really like how it turned out! Thanks Paula Dobson for your inspiration!

Now, I did use a Basic Black marker to create the edge line for the 'wine' level in each glass. I colored in the image using the Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends. I added 'Wink of Stella' to the "wine" to make it shimmer.

St Patty's Day 2022

 

I used Wendy Lee's card as inspiration for my own St. Patrick's Day card. Thanks Wendy for sharing your beautiful card! I changed a few things to make the card my own, but wanted to give credit to the person who inspired mine.

For the background pieces, I used the 'True Love' Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The the background for the shamrock, I used the 'Stone' embossing folder and the 'Layering Squares' dies.

For the shamrock, I used the 'Be Mine' dies (the heart). To make the petals 'pop'... I used the stylus on the back of the die-cut shape to make the cut more defined. I used the 'Palms' dies to use as my stem for the shamrock.

The sentiment is from the 'Teeny Tiny Wishes' stamp set, and I die-cut it out using the 'Stitched Nested Labels'. Again, I used the stylus on the back of the die-cut to make the cut more defined.

For the Shamrock Hat

I used a 3" circle of green cardstock for the base.

I cut one piece of green cardstock 2"x 7". and scored it on one side (long) .5". Then, along that edge scored every .5" and cut along the score lines. Gluing it onto the base after gathering it together on the ends to make a circle.

I cut one piece of 7"x .5" black cardstock (for the band on the hat).

I cut one piece of 1" square yellow cardstock (for the buckle). I snipped the corners off the yellow piece to round the corners of the buckle.

I cut one piece of .5" square black cardstock (for the middle of the buckle).

Watercolor Camellia

 

What a beautiful card that Wild Violets Art created with the Calming Camellia stamp set (a 2022 Sale-A-Bration catalog). I decided to try my hand at making one of my own with a different color scheme. While I didn't have the white ink that she used on her card... I made mine work with a white watercolor pencil and 'Wink of Stella' over top.
