Dino Birthday

My twin sister loves dinosaurs, so had to create a dino card for her with the 'Dino Days' set. The coordinating dies (Dino dies) perfectly align to complete dinosaurs (with spikes).

Paddys Day

For my littlest niece... just had to create a St. Patrick's Day card for her!
I used My Memories Suite to create it, and printed it out on Whisper White cardstock. I then matted it in gold foil and attached it to the Mossy Meadow card base.

Wild Feet

As the sloth was sitting in a tree... I used the 'Wood Textures' DSP in the background.

Passionate Moments

The flower in not a stamp, it's part of the 'Petal Passion' Designer Series Paper (DSP). I cut the flower out with my scissors and colored the flower in using Stampin' Blends. How cool is that!

Welcome Eleanor

 

My husband and I welcomed the birth of our niece, Eleanor, on March 24, 2019!!! It's the first for my little brother and his wife. What a blessing she is to our family! Eleanor (Ellie was born at 9:44am and weighed 7lbs and was 18 inches long. Momma Tracy had to have a C-section, but everything went well!

Now, Mike and I are Uncle and Aunt now to 18 nieces and nephews. We are so blessed!

Well, I've decided to start work on our 2019 photobook! Yes.... I know it's 2020.... I have so many excuses as to why I haven't started the book yet. LOL! I hope to get some pages complete, so I'm not too far behind.

Okay, let's start with March 2019. My niece, Tori, and her then fiancee, Aaron, had their wedding shower at the Sunrise Cove Party Center in North Royalton. The theme was a Tea Party. I was honored to design the party invitations and the blank recipe cards to hand out to each invitee.

We had a blast! As the party was a tea party, my sister-in-law, Susanna, got to utilize all her unique tea cups and saucers! Wow! What a collection!

I used the 'Lovely Lily Pad' stamp set with it's coordinating 'Lily Pad' dies. I did a bit of masking too. I first stamped the green leaf "pad" on the cardstock. Then, with a scrap of paper, I covered the "pad" so that I could brayer over it with Seaside Spray ink. Take the scraps of paper off and poof... your finished background.

Tropical Bouquet

If you've ever been to Hawaii, you know that it's the best place to have freshest pineapple. Here on the mainland, pineapples are good, but lacking that extra freshness that only ripened on the plant and not ripened anywhere else gives you!

For all the pineapple lovers out there.... this card is for you! And for my friend, Reva, who loves pineapples!

I used the 'In The Tropics' dies to cut out the pineapple. As there were holes after the dies were cut, I placed a lighter yellow shade behind the die-cut to make it resemble more of a pineapple.

Graces Thoughts

A few new stamp sets that I'm using here. The first is the 'Grace's Garden' stamp set that coordinates with the 'Garden Gateway' dies. The second is the 'Sending You Thoughts' which has different sentiments within the set. Pair these together, and you have a lovely Get Well or Thinking of You card!

I used the retired 'Wood Textures' DSP to dimension to the wooden fence.

Birthday Front

I do have to admit that this card's layout is not one I created on my own. I found the layout on Pinterest... thanks for the inspiration to create this card!

I used the stamp sets 'Snow Front' and 'Happy Birthday Gorgeous' to make this beauty. The colors are muted to create a watercolor look. To achieve this, I stamped the image on a scrap piece of paper before stamping on the cardstock.

Seaside Shells

The Seaside Notions stamp set does not come with coordinating dies, but that does not stop me from cutting them out individually with scissors.

I had some trouble deciding on the background DSP color.... I could have chosen Soft Sea Foam or a Balmy Blue, but I chose to use Crumb Cake to make the scene a wavy sand background piece.
