For my Dad's wife who recently had surgery. I pray that she has a quick recovery without complications! I fell in love with Paula Barin's card... such a lovely card. I made one of my own using cheerful colors for her. I added a Wink of Stella to the flowers to make them shine.

Changing Wonder

 

I really loved the 'Changing Leaves' stamp set on the dark background from Stampin' Up!, so I had to create one for myself for my brother-in-law.

I decided not to have a sprayed background and used the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder instead. I changed the sentiment for the one in 'Wildlife Wonder' stamp set.

I found this cute card made by Jeanna Bohanon on Pinterest. I knew I had to create one for my niece that was turning 3! 

I fussy cut all the barn animals... and cut around the 'hooves' so they could "carry" the sign! I also used a stylus to create a deeper indent/groove within the sentiment piece.

I used my computer to print off the sentiment as I wanted it to say "3rd".

My niece (another one, I have 13!)... turned 21! I hope this year is a blast for her! 

I used the 'Sip Sip Hooray' stamp set (obviously) and chose to use the 'Snowflake Sky' embossing folder in the background.  I added a Wink of Stella to the champagne and cocktail drink, but left the wine without sparkle!

When I saw Terri Walker's card... I just knew I needed to create a similar card. The 'Snow Front' stamp set has so many different possibilities. I just love it when I come across another card using this set! So, thank you Terri for your inspiration!

I didn't have the exact DSP (Designer Series Paper) as she used, so I used the 'Peaceful Prints' DSP.

I added a Wink of Stella to the snowman to make him sparkle.

Christmas Thanks

 

After the Christmas festivities have been completed, there was a need to create some 'Thank-You' cards. Well, this year it was made easy for me, as I had purchased the 'Garden of Thanks' kit! WOW! Such an amazing kit. It gave instructions to create 3 different cards... and enough material to make 3 of each card. Or, as I had done in a previous post, create a totally original card using the material within the kit. 

I do have to say, that just creating the designs that were in the kit was a breeze. AND.... everything is included (well, except scissors to cut the twine!). Thanks so much Stampin' Up! Now all my Thank-you's are complete!

Corner Home

 

My cousin and her husband just purchased their first home! Congratulations for this huge step after their marriage! I chose the 'Coming Home' stamp set and paired it with the 'Corner in Bloom' stamp set. these stamps really do create a good 'anchor' for the stamps that need 'grounding'.
