My brother and his wife's wedding colors were red/white and gold... I chose to make an anniversary card using the colors red/white and black. As their anniversary date is in December.... the perfect embossing folders were used as the background and square pieces.

The sentiment is from the 'Celebrating You' stamp set.

I used Wink of Stella to make the red blooms shine.

Wintry Cheer

 

I created this Christmassy Thank You card for my brother and his wife. They do so much for our big family by hosting all the holiday parties at their home. Its a huge undertaking... and for me, it doesn't go unappreciated!

I chose to pair the sentiment in 'Heart Shaped' (and its coordinating die) with the 'Words of Cheer' stamp set (and Christmas Cheer dies). The background is the 'Wintry 3D' embossing folder along with 'Peaceful Prints' DSP (Designer Series Paper).

Poinsettia Christmas

 

Another card I designed as a Christmas card this year. I used the 'Star of Light' Stamp set for the sentiment. I used the 'Rustic Crate' stamp set for the poinsettia image and its coordinating die to cut it out. The background is the 'Snowflake Sky' 3D embossing folder. I used the Rectangled Stitched dies to cut out the pieces (except for the mat).

Evergreen Christmas

 

One of the Christmas cards I designed this year. I wanted simple yet elegant and I think I succeeded. lol

I used the 'Forever Forest' stamp set with its coordinating dies. I used the 'Star of Light' stamp set for the sentiment. I used the 'Evergreen Forest' embossing folder for the background. The Designer Series Paper is from the 'Peaceful Prints' DSP.

I added a Wink of Stella' to the trees to make them shine.

I used Rectangle Stitched dies for most of the pieces (except for the mat of the Evergreen Forest background).

I love this set... its so perfect for all the men in my life (and for some of the women in my life too!).

I wanted to make all the tools to match, so I used a Stampin' Blends marker (Pecan Pie) to color on top of the Gray Granite cardstock to create the two-tone tools you see here.

Masquerade Keyboard

 

Looking through Pinterest for a musical birthday card, I came across a design using candles for the black keys on a piano/keyboard. Such a cute idea and great for my brother-in-law's birthday card.

I designed this within My Memories Suite digital software. Using lines from the 'Happiness Is' Project Life Stamp Brush Set. The Candles and Notes are from the MM8 Embellishments - 'Totally Awesome Day Musical Notes' and 'Masquerade Candle Melting'. The sentiment is made from the Word Art function within the software.

Garden of Hugs

 

What a cute kit from Stampin' Up!® ! This is an online exclusive set called the 'Garden of Thanks kit'. It comes with everything you need to create several different Thank You cards. I chose to use the sentiment from the 'Hearts and Hugs' stamp set.

The background is an envelope within the kit. I, however, cut it down to use as a background piece on top of my Bubble Bath cardstock.

I really loved Mikaela Titheridge's dinosaur card using the 'Dino Days' stamp set and its coordinating 'Dino' dies. I chose a different background as its a winter birthday, and changed the color of the dinosaurs to make something my niece will love (she loves orange).

Such lovely cards made by Alejandra Gomez! I just knew I had to make one for myself to give to my Dad's wife who is recovering from surgery.
