Brewed

 

I saw this saying with a beer mug on it within Pinterest, and thought I could try my hand at making a similar card for my brother who loves beer.

The sentiment font is Blackadder ITC, which I printed within My Memories Suite digital software. I was able to make it curved too!

The Beer Mug and Foam is from the 'Brewed For You' stamp set and it's coordinating 'Brewed' dies.

Enduring Greeting

 

I just loved the layout that Cindy created with her card. Now... I changed a few things to make the card my own, but wanted to share where I got the inspiration.

I used the color combos of Sweet Sorbet and Cherry Cobbler for the petals and Old Olive and Mossy Meadow for the leaves.

I stamped the sentiment first on Basic White cardstock and then embossed with the Layered Florals embossing folder.

I added a Wink of Stella to the petals to make them shine.

I started out trying to create Karen Ksenzakovic's card... and decided to go in a different direction with my card. The front panel looks similar. So, thanks Karen for your inspiration!

The sentiment piece: the sentiment is from the 'Happiness Abounds' stamp set and the die is from the coordinating 'Blossoming Happiness' dies. I used Basic White twine in the holes to create a lovely threaded sentiment piece for my friend.

I added a Wink of Stella to the flowers to make them shine.

I loved the color scheme in Jilli Bling's card... and the layout too! So I created a card of my own with her lovely inspiration! Thanks Jilli!

The two stamp sets used here are 'Enduring Beauty' and 'Cottage Rose'. I utilized the 'Layered Florals' 3D embossing folder. The sentiment die is from the 'Natural Prints' set. I added a 'Wink of Stella' to the petals of the flowers to make them shine.

I used Wink of Stella on some of the shells to make them shine and I used Glitter Exopy Shapes to make it feel like underwater! The Epoxy Shapes are old, so they did turn a bit yellow while in storage.

Obviously, my niece just turned 5 years old! LOL! She's into dance and gymnastics as well as sports in the summer time. Her birthday party is geared toward gymnastics, so I made my card reflect that. 

I found the free clip art gymnastics girl online. Although, I would've loved one that had brown hair with a purple leotard... this is the best I could do!

For the happy couple (Kim and Jake) on their wedding shower day! So much LOVE and so excited to be celebrating them!

I used the new 'Stippled Roses' stamp and its coordinating dies for this card! I stamped the image in Gray Granite instead of Memento to give it a softer look. Then, I colored in the image using Stampin' Blends and added 'Wink of Stella' to the petals to make them shine.

My niece is turning 21! Wow! The more and more nieces and nephews turn 21... it's starting to make me feel old. LOL! Luckily... I still have nieces that are 5 and 2, so I don't have to really FEEL old until THEY turn 21! LOL!

I used several different stamp sets for the glasses... Martini glass from 'Sip Sip Hooray', Brandy sniffer from 'Brewed For You', Whiskey glass from 'Whiskey Business' and the cocktail glass from 'Nothing's Better Than'. I used a Wink of Stella to make the liquid in each glass shine!
